This old kitchen in Ambler was remodeled quite a few years ago.
While it held up for many years it is showing it’s age now in both form and function.
These four pictures are of the same wall just a slightly different angle.
The old refrigerator is where the new, larger pocket door into the dining room will be.
The cabinets have been removed, the old door to the right has been infilled and the pockets have been installed for the new doors. There is a plastic zip wall to keep dust from the rest of the house.
We can really see what this wall of the new kitchen will look like now. Red Quartz Counters have been installed. There are still a few details left to complete. Tile floor and tile back splash to come, paint, finish electric are amoung the misc details.
The home owners have moved into the new kitchen, which now has more windows over the sink. They often sip coffee in the morning while sitting at the peninsula, looking out the casement windows into the back yard.
